Jon’s Sewing Machines was established in 2014 by Jonathan and Janelle Horning at the age of 25 years old. For the first few months we operated out of our house, then we purchased a property in Wolcott NY and converted a 3 car garage into a 768 square feet store. In the fall of 2019, we began work on a new 2500 sq ft store and we opened it at the beginning of the pandemic spring of 2020. A 2500 Sq. ft. warehouse was added in 2023.

We started out with the BERNINA dealership and later added the Riccar vacuum dealership. We also have fabric, notions and other sewing supplies. We service many brands of sewing machines and Riccar vacuums.

At the time of this writing, 2026, we have 7 children, Tyler- 16, Janessa- 14, Twila- 12, Kenzie- 8, Adrian- 6, Amie 4 and Bryce who is 2. Along with the help of our children, we also employ Henry as a technician and Amy as a sales representative.

It is our goal to serve our customers with quality and respect and to build friendships along the way!
